My Organizing Journey
From a young age, I’ve had an innate spacial awareness and a natural talent for creating visual order, making space when it seems impossible, and helping transform a chaotic environment into a usable and enjoyable space.
As a teenager, my mom would often ask me to help organize areas of the house. When I would voice my request for her to ask someone else, she would say, “But you’re so good at it”. While I was not a fan of those words as a teenager, I have come to think fondly of them. She wasn’t wrong. I grew to enjoy the creativity of problem solving involved in organizing and while playing a game of Tetris in my mind to find the best use of a space.
From the time I was 2 until after I graduated college, my family would move every four years. Needless to say, organizing and reimagining spaces became second nature for me throughout that experience. Hanging onto things became part of life, part of a way to hang onto places left behind or memories made. Sometimes scarcity encouraged it as well.
Over the years, I have helped those close to me navigate minimizing the number of things they own, have minimized the amount of things I own, and have assisted many in creating a space that supports the vision of life they desire.
I would love to help you in your organizing needs. Whether you are in a life transition or are downsizing/minimizing or are creating sustainable systems in your space, I can help you reach your goals. I hope you enjoy reading through my client testimonials and viewing the before and after photos of some of the areas I’ve worked on. I can’t wait to connect and help your vision come to life! I’ll leave you with a quote I have come to love. “If not now, when?”
